Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.
Former two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
However, the novice remains one of the sport's biggest financial successes, consistently making huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the usual confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really proceeding.
